Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-23

Boneti GmbH("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website or request our services. As a Swiss company, we operate under the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP); where applicable, we also take the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) into account.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you request a quote, contact us, or submit any form on the Site, we may ask for:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Property address
  • Preferred cleaning date
  • Details about the service (property size, service type requested, and so on)
  • Any other information you choose to share

We also keep records of calls, emails, text messages, and other communications you send us.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent on the Site
  • Referral URL (the site you came from)

We use this information to understand how the Site is used and to improve it.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to quote requests and inquiries
  • Schedule, perform, and complete your cleaning or other services
  • Send service-related messages such as confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups
  • Process payments
  • Improve our Site, services, and customer experience
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Prevent fraud and protect our rights and our customers

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as needed to operate our business:

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the Site or fulfill services, such as our email provider (Resend), our analytics providers (Vercel, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity), our video testimonials provider (Wistia), and payment processors. These providers are only authorized to use your information to perform services for us.
  • Legal requirements. If required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers. If Boneti GmbH is sold, merged, or reorganized, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Cookies and Tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate properly and to help us understand how visitors use the Site. This includes:

  • Essential cookies. Needed for the Site to function, for example remembering your theme preference.
  • Analytics cookies. Anonymous usage data collected through Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Behavioral analytics cookies. Microsoft Clarity records aggregated session data (clicks, scrolls, and rage-click signals) so we can improve the Site. Clarity masks form fields by default, so anything you type into the quote form or contact form is not recorded.
  • Third-party embeds. Wistia video testimonials set their own cookies when you interact with them.

You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Site may not work as intended.

5. Third-Party Services

Some features on our Site are provided by third parties. Each handles data under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review theirs:

6. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary to provide services, meet legal and tax requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Quote requests and service records are typically retained for at least three years after the last interaction.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Under Swiss data protection law (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we have about you
  • Ask us to correct or delete your information
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. Marketing emails always include an unsubscribe link. If you receive a call you don't want, just tell us and we will remove you from our follow-up list. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

8. Children's Privacy

Our Site and services are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you provide. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information transmitted over the internet will always be safe.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review the policy periodically.
